A couple of comments:
We held the meeting at Shoreline Lake, in Mountain View. It was a nice setting, the sun was slowly going down, and there were still a few sailboats out there. The food theme was picnic food loosely related to the book including biscuits, finger sandwiches, and a fruit salad in the shape of a boat!
Some people commented how reading the book affected them physically, making them thirsty, etc. We had a couple first time appearances by Jen Buck and Greg Nakaki!
